A. The university does not accept Cash, Personal Cheques, and Money Order payments. Payments can be
made by Bankers Cheque or Direct Cash deposits to the University account as indicated. Students are
strongly advised to make payments using Banker’s Cheque.
B. All Fees except accommodation fees will be paid into the following Alupe University College Bank
Account: Kenya Commercial Bank, BUSIA BRANCH A/C No. 1201874084.
C. Apart from the fees indicated above, students are advised to have with them at least 18,000/= per year for catering services and 9,000/= per year for books.
D. Students are expected to present evidence of payments to the accountant who will issue a receipt.
Students are advised to file their payment receipts safely and present them whenever there is a query.
E. AUC will not be responsible for providing medical services to students; you are therefore advised to plan for this.
Those students with personal medical insurance should inform the Dean of Students. However, those who wish to use the Alupe Sub-county referral hospital are advised to have at least 5,000/= per year for outpatient services.
F. Students are expected to register with NHIF and subscribe annually-this is a condition for admission for First years.
G. COBES fees should be paid using separate banker cheques payable to Alupe University College.
H. Indemnity on field attachments will be borne by students as and when required.
I. International Students pay 20% higher on tuition fees.
NB: This fee structure is subject to revision at the sole discretion of the University.
