Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri Supplementary Admission Method of Application
The application process is straightforward and can be initiated from any location across Nigeria, minimising the need for unnecessary travel. Here’s how you can apply:
- Start by visiting Federal Polytechnic Nekede’s website. Select ‘Application form’s link’ under the student’s menu and choose your desired programme.
- Complete the Bio-data form and generate an invoice. Note down the invoice number for future reference.
- Make the payment of the application fee (N2,000.00 for ND Regular, N12,000.00 for ND Evening, and N15,000.00 for HND Regular and Evening) at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice. Payments can also be made using VERVE, VISA, or MASTER CARD.
- Return to the website to complete your application process, submit your data, and print out your acknowledgment slip.
Application Deadline:
All application procedures must be completed on or before 12 midnight of 28th February 2024.
National Diploma (ND) Regular – Programme Details and Entry Requirements
Prospective students who scored 120 and above in their UTME can apply for various courses ranging from Co-operative Economics and Management to Library Science. The entry requirement for all National Diploma (ND) Programmes includes five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes and Requirements
The HND Programmes are available in various departments, from the School of Business and Management Technology to the School of Information & Communication Technology. The entry requirements include possessing a National Diploma in the chosen programme and at least five (5) relevant O’level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. Additionally, candidates are expected to have completed 12 to 24 months of post-National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.
