About Kogi State University Kabba
Kogi State University, Kabba (KSUK) is a state government-owned university newly built and approved by the NUC under the regime of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
As the 62nd State-owned University and 265th University in Nigeria, the Kogi State University, Kabba (KSUK), Kogi West Senatorial District was founded by the Kogi State Government on June 26, 2023, with a charter from the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja.
By September 2023, the university will launch Phase 1 employing a compound/hybrid faculty structure with three faculties: arts and humanities, science and computing, management, administration, and social sciences.
Twenty-five (25) programmes will be housed in seventeen (17) academic departments across the three faculties. Additionally, there will be specialised ICT Centres, Learning Resources, and Research and Academic Centres.

Kogi State University, Kabba (KSUK) General Admission Requirements
For you to be considered for admission into the Kogi State University Kabba (KSUK), you are advised to meet the following requirements:
- Have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
- Have a minimum JAMB score of 140 in the recent JAMB Exam.
- Have a good score in the KSUK post-UTME Exam.
- Have a merit pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other advanced level certificates (Direct Entry Admission Only).
