YUMSUK General Admission Requirements
- You should not be below the age of sixteen (16) years at the time of application.
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or its equivalent in no more than two (2) sittings.
- You must have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet the required JAMB cut-off mark for the Yusuf Maitama Sule University. The cut-off mark varies depending on the course you choose. You can check the cut-off mark for each course here.
- You must register and participate in the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the university. The screening exercise usually takes place in September or October every year. YUMSUK Admission Requirements For Direct Entry Candidates
- You must possess a National Diploma (ND), NCE, IJMB, or its equivalent in relevant fields and must also have a minimum of Lower Credit/ Merit grade.
- You must register and apply for Direct Entry admission through JAMB.
- You must also register and participate in the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the university.
YUMSUK Application Process
- To apply for admission into YUMSUK, you need to visit the JAMB portal and create a profile. You will need a valid email address and phone number to do this.
- After creating your profile, you need to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number and pay the application fee of N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only) through any bank or online payment platform.
- After paying the application fee, you need to log in to the JAMB portal and complete your online application form. You will need to upload your passport photograph, O’level results, and other relevant documents.
- You also need to choose YUMSUK as your first or second choice of institution and select your preferred course of study.
- After completing your online application form, you need to print out your confirmation slip and keep it for future reference.
