Application Procedure
Interested candidates are invited to apply for the Post Basic Nursing programmes. To begin the application process, applicants must visit the College to obtain an application PIN number. This is available upon the payment of an application fee of Six Thousand Two Hundred Naira (N6200). Payments should be made into the TSA pay point of ATBUTH, Bauchi. The window for application opens from 4th to 15th March 2024, providing a limited timeframe to secure your place in this prestigious programme.
Submission of Application
Once completed, hard copies of the application forms must be returned to the College no later than 15th March 2024. This deadline is crucial for those aiming to participate in the upcoming academic session.
Entry Requirements
To qualify for admission into the Post Basic Nursing programmes, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in either NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB examinations, achievable in no more than two sittings. Importantly, NABTEB results can only be combined with other NABTEB grades.
- Beyond these academic prerequisites, applicants must be registered Midwives with a current practicing license, underscoring the programme’s focus on enhancing the skills of those already in the nursing profession.
Selection Process

An essential part of the selection process is the screening interview, scheduled for 18th to 19th March 2024. This crucial step will take place at the College of Nursing Sciences, ATBU Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, and will determine the suitability of candidates for the programme.
