Understanding the LASU Online Clearance Process
Important Pre-requisites
- Fees Payment: Ensure you have completed the payment for acceptance, medical, and clearance fees before initiating the clearance process.
- LACACA Operation: Note that LACACA is a product of LASU Consult Limited, and there is a mandatory clearance fee associated with it, payable via the LASU e-payment portal.
How to Initiate the LASU Online Clearance
- Starting the Process: Visit LASU LACACA to begin.
- Entering Your Information:Provide your JAMB Registration Number in the required field, and select “FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE LACACA” from the dropdown menu.
- Contact Details: Enter a valid email address and phone number.
Step-by-Step Guide to Complete LACACA
- Accessing LACACA: Visit the LASU website at LASU Official Site and navigate to the ‘STUDENT’ tab, then select ‘UG LACACA’.
- Submission of Details: Enter your UTME registration number and surname to submit.
- Document Uploads and Verification:
- Supply your National Identification Number (NIN)and LASRRA ID.
- Validate basic bio-data and verify disability status.
- Upload relevant documents, including O’Level scratch card details, birth certificate, UTME results, JAMB Admission Letter, and a scanned signature.
- Progress Monitoring: After submission, the clearance progress will be updated to 20%, pending further review by university officials.
- Attention to Errors: If there are errors that require correction, candidates will need to pay for these corrections on the LASU payment portal.
- Final Clearance: Once you reach 100% clearance, you can print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and receive your Matriculation Number.
Commencement and Duration
- The online clearance process will start on Friday, 5th January 2024, and will continue for two weeks.

- If your application is rejected, check your portal for the reason. You may need to visit the Admission Office at the Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo.
