Comprehensive Financial Support

The Mandela Rhodes Scholarship provides full funding for your academic pursuits in South Africa, covering:

  • Tuition and registration fees for a one-year Honours degree or a two-year Masters degree in any field at a recognised South African institution.
  • Allowances for study materials, research, and medical aid.
  • Accommodation and meals, alongside a personal allowance.
  • Economy class travel to and from your home country to your South African university at the start and end of your degree.

 

 

Are You Eligible?

This scholarship is open to individuals who:

  • Are citizens of an African country.
  • Are aged between 19 and 29.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree with excellent results (above 70% or upper-second class Honours) by January 1, 2025.
  • Aspire to be ethical leaders committed to advancing equality, freedom, and human dignity in Africa.
