Master of Science Degree Courses Offered

For the 2024–25 academic year, the scholarship will be supporting studies in three cutting-edge areas, all of which are taught in English, to cater to a global audience:

  • Master in Environmental Engineering at Sopron University, Sopron.
  • Master in Crop Production Engineering at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő.
  • Master in Horticultural Engineeringat the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus, Budapest.

Selection Process

The selection process is meticulously designed to identify candidates who are most likely to excel in their chosen field of study. It comprises two phases:

  • Phase 1: FAO will conduct an initial screening of candidates and forward applications to the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, which, in turn, will send them to the corresponding university as chosen by the applicants. Only complete applications will be considered.
  • Phase 2: Selected candidates may undergo a written or oral English examination as part of the admission procedure. The final selection will be made by the universities, with successful candidates being notified by both the Ministry and the university.
