Important Pre-Matriculation Instructions
Completing Registration Formalities:It’s imperative for all fresh students to complete their registration formalities by Monday, March 11, 2024. Matriculation numbers are a prerogative for students who have completed their registration and settled all necessary fees. The deadline is non-negotiable; it’s the last call to secure your place as a student at IAUE.
Matriculation Gown Fee: A fee of ₦11,000.00 (Eleven Thousand Naira only) is set for the hiring of matriculation gowns. All payments are to be made online, directly to the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port-Harcourt. This process ensures a seamless transition into the official matriculation attire for the ceremony.
Key Points for Fresh Students:
- Registration and School Fees:Failure to complete registration formalities and payment of school fees by the stipulated deadline will result in forfeiture of student status at IAUE.
- Matriculation Register Signature:Participation in the matriculation ceremony is conditional upon presenting evidence of gown payment, allowing you to sign the Matriculation Register.
- Gown Collection: Collection of matriculation gowns from Faculty Officers commences on March 11, 2024. Part-time students are directed to collect their gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at the St John’s Diobu Campus.
Post-Matriculation Guidelines
- Gown Return Policy: All academic gowns must be returned to the Faculty Officer by Wednesday, March 21, 2024. Late returns will attract a fine of ₦1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira only) per day.
- Identity Card Processing: Students who have completed their registration and school fees payment are advised to report to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre for their identity card (ID) processing.
