Imo State Polytechnic is a higher education institute in Umuagwo, Imo State, Nigeria. It was founded in 1978 as the Michael Okpara College of Agriculture, Umuagwo, and upgraded to a polytechnic status in 2007. In 2007, it was given the new name Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo.
The institution offers instruction, training, and research in all areas of agriculture, management sciences, engineering, and food sciences. The institution is authorized to grant National Diploma and Higher National Diploma credentials.
