The Registrar

Role and Responsibilities: The Registrar is pivotal as the Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations and serving as the Secretary to key university bodies. Qualifications: Candidates should possess at least a Second Class Lower Division honours degree and a Master’s degree, along with 15 years of relevant experience, including at least five years at a Deputy Registrar level or equivalent.

The Bursar

Role and Responsibilities: As the Chief Finance Officer, the Bursar plays a critical role in managing the university’s financial affairs, requiring a strategic thinker with robust financial acumen and integrity.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a good honours degree in Accounting/Economics/Financial Management, a Master’s degree, recognized professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, etc.), and a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience, with at least five years in a senior managerial role in a university setting.

The University Librarian

Role and Responsibilities: The University Librarian, a Principal Officer, oversees the university’s library services, ensuring access to academic resources and fostering an environment conducive to learning and research.

Qualifications: A Doctorate Degree in Library and Information Science, 15 years of cognate experience with at least five at the Deputy University Librarian level, and proven capacity to manage e-Library resources are required.
