The MINDS Scholarship is designed to ease your academic journey by covering essential expenses. Depending on the scholarship awarded (partial or full), it includes:
- Tuition Fees: Full or partial coverage of your course fees.
- Accommodation and Meals: Ensure a comfortable living and study environment.
- Travel: One return ticket for the duration of your studies.
- Stipend: A fixed amount to support your daily expenses.
Eligibility Criteria: Are You the Ideal Candidate?
To qualify for the MINDS Scholarship, you must:
- Be an African national, residing in any African country.
- Have acceptance from a MINDS preferred institution outside your home country.
- Plan to pursue postgraduate studies within the next academic year.
- Achieve at least 70% in each subject/course in the last two years of study.
- Show evidence of leadership potential as per the application requirements.
- Submit a complete online application with necessary supporting documentation.

Your journey with MINDS can take you to leading universities across the continent, including:
- East Africa: African Leadership University (Rwanda), Carnegie Mellon University (Rwanda), Makerere University (Uganda), Strathmore University (Kenya).
- Southern Africa: African Leadership University (Mauritius), University of Cape Town (South Africa), University of Mauritius, University of Witwatersrand (South Africa).
- North Africa: Al Akhawayn University (Morocco), Université Cadi Ayyad (Morocco), Université Mohammed V (Morocco).

How to Apply for MINDS Scholarship Programme
Required Documents: Prepare the following in PDF format, each not exceeding 2MB:
- Passport data page.
- Certified academic transcripts/results of the last two years.
- Official acceptance letter from the university.
- Valid study permit or visa (optional).
- Detailed CV/Resume (max 4 pages).
- Two reference letters focusing on integrity, leadership potential, and commitment to African development.
