SLU Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
To qualify for a Postgraduate Diploma at SLU, you must have:
- A first degree with at least a 3rd Class Degree or higher, or
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit, or
- An equivalent qualification satisfying the university’s matriculation requirements, plus relevant post-qualification experience.
Masters’ Degree Programmes
For a Master’s Degree, the requirements are:
- A Second Class (Lower Division) Degree with a CGPA not below 2.75, or
- A Second Class (Lower Division) with a CGPA of 2.40 – 2.74 plus a Postgraduate diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, or
- A Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 and an HND with Upper Credit, or
- Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by SLU.
PhD Degree Programmes
For PhD programmes, you must hold:
- An academic Master’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.50.
