Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Steve Eshiemogie Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a Nigerian student studying within Nigeria.
  • Be enrolled in a federal government university.
  • Specialize in fields like chemical engineering, biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related areas.
  • Be progressing to your final undergraduate year (either 300 Level for 4-year courses or 400 Level for 5-year courses).
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 4.3 on a 5.0 scale or 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

How to Apply

Application Steps

  1. Statement of Purpose: Write a maximum 2-page statement in PDF format, expressing your motivation, academic challenges, research interests, future plans, impact goals, and achievements.
  2. CV/Resume: Prepare a structured CV/resume in PDF format.
  3. Letters of Recommendation: Obtain two letters from department lecturers or professors, scanned into PDFs.
  4. Confirmation Letter: A signed letter from the HOD or course advisor confirming non-receipt of other scholarships.
  5. Transcript: Provide your undergraduate transcript up to your current level. Self-reported transcripts using the provided template are acceptable.
  6. Tuition and Project Details: Document specifying tuition fees, final year study dates, fee payment deadline, and undergraduate project title.
