Matriculation Oath and Register
It is mandatory for all fresh undergraduate students to attend this significant ceremony, where they will take the Matriculation Oath and sign the Matriculation Register at their respective Faculties/College. Be aware, students who do not sign the register will not be recognised as registered students of the university, underscoring the importance of participation.
Academic Gowns: A Symbol of Tradition
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of five hundred Naira (N500.00) is required.
- Collection: Academic gowns will be available from Faculty Officers starting from Monday, 25th March 2024, at 12:00 noon.
- Return Date: All gowns must be returned to the Central Stores by Friday, 1st April 2024.
The academic gown, a symbol of academic tradition and pride, will be issued by the Faculty Officers upon payment of the deposit at the Bursary Department. This gown is not only a part of the ceremonial attire but also signifies the student’s transition into the academic realm of MAU.
