Orientation Programme Overview
The Orientation Programme is set to commence on Wednesday, 28th February 2024, at the OGD Hall, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye. This marks the start of a week-long event dedicated to helping new students navigate the complexities of university life, both academically and socially.

Following the initial kickoff, the various Colleges and Faculties within OOU will host their own sessions. Special Jumat and Sunday Services
- Special Jumat Service: A key component of the orientation week is the Special Jumat Service, scheduled for Friday, 1st March 2024, at the As-Sujood Mosque, Main Campus, beginning at 1.00 p.m. This service offers a moment of spiritual reflection and community bonding among the new students and the larger university community.
- Special Sunday Service: The week’s events will culminate in a Special Sunday Service at the Chapel of Abundant Life on 3rd March 2024 at 10.00 a.m. It’s a time for thanksgiving and looking forward to the academic challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ayodeji Agboola, alongside other distinguished members of the University Management, will be in attendance to officially declare the ceremony open.
