Understanding the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme

The Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme is more than just a training platform. It’s a holistic ecosystem that ensures capacity building through various forms of engagement such as trainings, master classes, events, coaching, mentoring, and providing access to potential customers, markets, and financing. This initiative is developed and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Lagos and implemented by FATE Foundation.

The overarching goal of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos and FATE Foundation is to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nigeria. This ecosystem aims to create economic opportunities and skills, leading to economic empowerment for the youth.

Eligibility Criteria and Key Benefits

To be a part of this transformative journey, participants must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years with a viable business concept. The programme offers a plethora of benefits, including:

  • Funding for Prototype Development & Testing: Access financial support to bring your ideas to life.

Structure and Curriculum

The programme’s curriculum is designed to comprehensively nurture your business idea. It includes:

  • Enterprise Training & Master Classes covering a wide range of topics from Concept Development to Digital Marketing and Business Pitching.
  • Business Support in areas like legal, tax, HR, marketing, and digital aspects, including business registration and market linkages.
  • Mentoring that matches you with a business mentor for personalised guidance.

Application Process: How to Apply

Stage I:

  • Complete the online application form, ensuring all required fields are filled and necessary documents are uploaded, including a passport photograph, school certificate or statement of result, birth certificate, and optional CAC registration.

Stage II:

  • Post application review, 30 candidates will be shortlisted for a 2-day Bootcamp, ending in a Pitch Competition to select the top 20 participants per stream for the Incubation programme.

Thanks to the support from the Kingdom of Netherlands, Orange Corners, and other partners, the programme is free for entrepreneurs who make it to the Bootcamp and incubation stage. This scholarship covers all direct course fees.
